Our leadership

Enrique Rodriguez is the principal and owner of Sussex Engineering, PLLC. His career spans work as a senior electrical engineer, project manager, commissioning engineer and quality control technical reviewer with extensive experience in all aspects of electrical engineering design. He is knowledgeable with low and medium voltage distribution systems, parallel switchgear, generators, Photovoltaic and other energy efficient systems, redundant UPS systems, power and lighting systems, and arc flash studies. Enrique has worked on a wide variety of project types, including mission critical, correctional facilities, police stations, military installations, tenant interior improvements, healthcare and commercial base buildings. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Enrique is knowledgeable in the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code 2018, NEC 2021, NFPA Publications, International Energy Conservation Code 2015/2015, and IEEE standards and practices, specifically the IEEE Color Book series.
